Many years ago, I've sometimes wondered how birds actually mated. I've every-so-often made a joke of figuring out how birds have sex and the joke went by me holding up an imaginary chicken in the air and looking all round it trying to look for any clues and not finding any, I admit that the joke doesn't translate well in written form and is actually not that much better even if done properly.
I could kick myself for all these years for this sad excuse for a gag and I never once even thought of finding out the truth of the matter when the explanation (shown above) clearly expedites the entire research process. I now have no (pertinent) questions about this particular topic, so if you've ever wondered about birds as I did, you're welcome.
