The (directly) above are a few excerpts from a series of images I created a while ago for the local production of Henrik Ibsen's Hedda Gabler. The (photographic) idea was to translate something raw and old into a somewhat modern form whilst mixing a (now) antiquated medium and a new one, which I admit, isn't really very original. It has been a while since I did a full-on shoot with a reasonable amount of production values, (pre-) and post-production as I used to employ.
Now that I've gotten some bit of distance from it (the manner of creating images), and doing this again, it felt somewhat new. I'd like to think that that (even to a small extent) translates into the series of images.
