Nice Tee

Old Ben obviously needs some practice as this is not a good look of either of us but a nice picture nonetheless

One of the things I like most about the neighborhood pub of ours called the Oarhouse—not to be confused with someplace with pros—are coincidences like this. The printed T-shirt (top) was a promotional gift my now defunct former creative group used to give away come year-end, the design was an appropriation of one of my better portraits of Ronnie (on the left) way back in 2007 and the tee was initially distributed at the end of 2007 to early 2008 in two colors, beige was the other variant.

I have not worn this shirt in years (and actually thought it (along with maybe two other ones were lost to time) and only did so out of laziness to pick up the fucking laundry, so digging around the closet for a clean tee, this was one of the more acceptable ones so I went with it. Knowing Ronnie for a while, enough to know he's typically out of the country (and actually just arrived a few hours before this), this coincidence came as a quaint surprise which (again) ended in barbershop talk, boisterous laughter and one too many drinks, which is pretty much typical at the Oar.
